Testimonials

  • I work with breaking door parts, making threads, and retrieving plates. In addition, I am given the opportunity to work in different parts of the company to learn more, including how to connect boxes to electric doors and electrical cabinets. It is cool to know that doors are actually being shipped and are sailing on board ships worldwide.

    Jerzy

    Welder / Steel Worker

  • What I really appreciate is that my workdays are highly varied, with diverse technical challenges related to supporting customers, service engineers, and internal teams. A large part of my role involves planning and coordinating tasks, which requires close collaboration with colleagues across different departments, preparation of technical documentation, and direct customer contact for various purposes.

    Ronny

    Field Technical Coordinator

  • What makes me proud to work at IMS is our strong “we-culture” – an inclusive workplace. The company is committed to having apprentices within various disciplines and to being a workplace for everyone, regardless of the individual challenges they may face.

    Mette

  • I started working at IMS because I enjoyed welding at school. The school had an agreement with IMS, which gave me the opportunity for a trainee placement here. I really liked it, and this later led to an apprenticeship. Friendly people, a great work environment, and exciting tasks make it a rewarding place to be. I feel that I contribute meaningful work in production, as watertight doors are an important part of the vessel and can potentially save lives.

    Arian

    Production Worker / Welder

  • My workday consists of initiating projects and following them through in production in close collaboration with great colleagues. Rarely a week goes by without new challenges arising, but thanks to strong teamwork with specialists across departments, we manage to find solutions to almost everything.
